Enrika Trades & Services Pvt. Ltd., being the Joint Venture partner of Belaz from India, was also part of the group welcoming the delegation of the high level officials from the Ministry of Coal of India and other major PSUs to Republic of Belarus.

The delegation comprised of Mr.Sriprakash Jaiswal, Honourable Minister of Coal, Government of India along with Special Secretary and Director Technical, Ministry of Coal. Mr. N. C Jha - Chairman 'Coal India Limited' and Mr. A. R Ansari - CMD 'Neyveli Lignite' were also part of the delegation.

The delegation was in Belarus between 16th to 19 June 2011, whereby 17th June was significant due to the visit to Belaz plant.

On their arrival at the plant, they were accorded with a traditional Belarusian welcome which was followed by a stop-over at the Belaz museum. Later the Minister and the delegates were shown around the Belaz plant, where they witnessed the technological advancements and achievements made by Belaz plant in the past three years. One could witness their collaboration with major component makers from the West such as for Engines - Cummins and MTU, for Transmission - Seimens and GE. Lincoln (USA) is the supplier for lubrication systems.

Belaz informed that over past few years they have considerably increased their production capacities for Heavy Duty Dumpers between 110 MT to 360 MT while 2010 was one of the best years in terms of production as they produced 360 units. This year they intend to make 375 units and by the end of 2012 Belaz plans to touch 560 units of the Heavy Duty Dumpers.

Belaz also informed about their plans to set up two more manufacturing units in the coming years.

The culminating moment of the visit was when the Minister along with all members of delegation climbed the huge 360 tonner dumper and took a ride on it !
